This Art Deco era powder box was made by Argilor of Paris, France, circa 1920s-1930s. It is in very good condition with minimal imperfections. The lid measures 5" in diameter, and the opening of the box as well as the underside of the box both measure 4.75" across. The depth measures 1.5".
*****Condition: Please note there is wear to the paint on the lid of the box. This wear is seen around the holes through which the tassels are anchored and on some of the floral design. There is also wear to the tassels. The outer edge of the opening of the box has wear, and there appears to be some damage to the interior of the lid, particularly around its edge, as seen in the last three photos. The underside of the box also has wear commensurate with age and use. Please examine all of the photos carefully and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
