This metal frame from France has a simple floral motif and measures approximately 4.5" at its widest x 7". The framed area covered by the glass measures approximately 3.5" at its widest x 5.75". I believe this piece to be late 1800s, early 1900s. Because I cannot specify an exact timeframe, I've listed this frame as being made before 2006.
Condition: Please note that the glass has chipped edges. Also, two of the frame's clips are missing so the glass is not held in well. It would be advisable to further secure the glass once the item to be framed is placed behind the glass. This frame may be able to be hung, using the screw at the top, but it can also be leaned against something, perhaps on a table top or vanity, to support it. Finally, the metal does have wear and some discoloration. Please examine all photos carefully and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
