This set of 12 Saglier Frères silver-plated teaspoons/coffee spoons/dessert spoons in their original case have the company's hallmark as well as the silver content (18 grams) used to plate the spoons on the bowl of each spoon. The set was purchased from the Marché aux Puces de Saint-Ouen. The company was started in the 1840s by Victor Saglier and was continued by his brothers Eugène and André after his death.
I'm estimating this set to be circa early 1900s, manufactured after Victor's brothers assumed the company, which disbanded in the 1940s.
The spoons, with a scrollwork design on the handle, measure 5.5" in length.
*****Condition: Please note the spoons have extensive wear in the form of tarnishing and scratches. Please examine the photos carefully and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
