This postcard features a duplicated photo of Pierrot and was part of the Scènes de Genre series by the firm Léon and Lévy. It dates to the early 1900s. The firm began in 1864, was acquired by Émile Crété, and then merged with its competitor Neurdein Frères in the 1913-1920 period. It was dissolved in 1932. Dimensions are approximately 5.5" x 3.5".
*****Condition: Please note that there is edge wear, some fading to the photographic front as well as some discoloration, and some discoloration to the reverse of the postcards.
