First Communion, Silk, Boy's Armband (Brassard), Circa Early 1900s, from France

This approximately 14" (from uppermost portion of bow to end of tassels) silk First Communion, boy's armband or brassard is circa early 1900s and from France. The bow measures 5.5" across at the center point. Please note I have not attempted to clean the armband but will leave this up to the discretion of the new owner.
*****CONDITION: The silk does have discoloration owing to age, especially around the cross and other embellishments as seen most clearly in the fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth photos. The fringe also has marked discoloration. The piece is fragile owing to the material and age. Please examine all of the photos carefully, and do let me know if you need more photos as I'll be happy to oblige.
