***Please note that the cards have all been detached.
This deck of Spanish playing cards is comprised of 40 light card stock cards that have been detached. The cards measure approximately 2.5" x 1.5" and are encased in a paper packet. One of the cards shows the deck's copyright date as 1964. The cards have coins, cups, clubs, and swords as suits for cards 1-7 as well as 3 court cards of a jack, knight and king for cards 10-12 for each suit. There are no missing cards. Naipes Infantiles means children's playing cards in Spanish. The fleur-de-lis is a French as well as Spanish symbol. It may refer to Spain's connection to the French Bourbon monarchy.
*****Condition: Please note the backs of the cards with the green and white pattern have some fading. The packet in which the cards are is difficult to close at either end because it is a light weight, fragile paper. Therefore, the ends are not closed entirely or properly for fear of damaging the packet. Finally, there is some tearing around the ends of the paper packet. Please examine the photos carefully and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
