French Malicorne Bouquetiere by Poulard-Béatrix, circa Early 1900s

$95.00

This antique faience (tin glazed earthenware) bouquetiere with hand-painted Breton figure and floral embellishments was produced by Pouplard-Béatrix in the first quarter of the 20th century in the Malicorne region of France. This rare piece measures 8" in length and has the mark of Pouplard-Béatrix on the reverse.

*****Condition: Please note the piece has condition issues in the way of chips (See, in particular, the blue edge of the pocket itself.), crazing (the overall crackled appearance you see on the piece) and glaze loss where the clay body is visible (on the reverse). Please examine all of the photos carefully using the zoom function and do let me know if you need more as I will be happy to oblige.
