This wooden apple bank, painted with a realistic shine and with a small, possibly leather stem, is from France. "Made in France" appears on the metal plate surrounding the lock. The exact age is unknown. Its circumference is approximately 10 ¾" at midpoint. The key/lock works.
*****Condition: There is smudging and discoloration as well as some paint loss, particularly around the slot. There is chipping to the paint on the underside at the circle's edge that is surrounding the lock. The lock and its surrounding metal plate has rust. Please examine the photos carefully and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
