This Victorian era cabinet card of a mother and daughter is circa 1880s. C.R. Selee or Channing R. Selee, was a photographer during this time period in Melrose, Massachusetts. In fact, one can find a number of references to him if one searches for his full name.
This cabinet card is 6.50" x almost 4.25"- the standard size of cabinet cards. The back of the card has an advertisement for C.R. Selee's photography studio at Emerson Place.
Card has wear and some pinholes. There is the appearance of worn gilt trim along the edges of the card.
