Antique, Circa 1800s, Victorian Era Cabinet Card by Edwin Winans of Oneonta, New York

The site also has displayed a cabinet card from this same company who produced the cabinet card for sale above (Granger of Delhi, New York). The scalloped edges and "large stylized studio design" point to a late 1800s time period.

This antique cabinet card is of a little boy from the Victorian era. It was common to dress boys in dresses from infancy up to a certain age.

This card is 6.50" x 4.25" and has gold scalloped edges.

*Please note that the upper right quadrant of the photo has a ripple that is not too noticeable unless the photo is tilted in a certain light. The ripple can be felt with the fingertips.
