This solid sterling silver bangle with a floral motif was made in Mexico City. The eagle with a 1 in the center attests to this. The ECM is more than likely the artist's initials. The mark in which ECM is enclosed reads "Hecho en Mexico de 925," and this translates to "Made in Mexico of 925," which is the mark for 92.5% pure silver. The bracelet was made probably circa 1960s.
The mark of the eagle with numerical designation representing the Mexican city in which the piece was made began to be used around 1948 through 1980 with various numbers representing different cities. Thank you to http://www.925-1000.com/mexican_marks.html for the information.
The bangle is a little over 2.50" across and weighs ½ ounce.
Thank you for looking.
