Female Warrior (Possibly Brunhild/Valkyrie) Chromolithograph, Circa Late 1800s

Sorry, this item has sold.

This antique chromolithograph is of a female warrior, quite possibly Brunhild, a powerful Valkyrie, sometimes known as a shield maiden. The chromo measures 8 ¾" x 6 ¼". Circa late 1800s. From France but provenance unknown.

*****Condition: There is some light wear to the chromo, including creasing. The piece has been pressed between heavy tomes but still does not lie flat. Once framed, the chromo should lie flat. There is an area (shown in fourth photo) of what appears to be paper loss. Please examine all of the photos carefully and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.

Thank you for looking.
