This lock of hair with ribbon is circa 1920s-1930s and from France. The handwritten note with the hair reads, "Cheveux de mon Jean-Paul." (Hair of my Jean-Paul.) Tissue paper is probably original. Hair measures approximately 2". Possibly a memento mori.
