This antique, French, chatelaine purse has a frame comprised of at least 800 silver and was discovered at the Marché aux Puces de Vanves. The frame has a boar's head hallmark and the purse itself is in excellent condition. There is an inner compartment, which divides the purse into two sections.
Dimensions of the mesh portion only are 2 ¼" x 1 ¾". This purse is very small and suitable for coins, at the most.
