This crib/cradle protection cross with cherub from the Marché aux Puces de Vanves is circa 1920s-1930s and of celluloid. It measures 5 ½" x 3", not including the ring. The ring is 1 ¼" across.
*****Condition: Please note that although I've gently cleaned the cross and cherub with a paper towel dipped in water, it still has a patina from years of use and then storage. I have left the patina as it provides an interesting contrast, but if one were to use a soft abrasive, the patina might be effectively removed. Also, in the third and fourth photos, one can see on one end of the cross what appears to be a chip or perhaps an imperfection created during the mold process; I cannot be certain.
