This French, bébé brooch has an illegible maker's mark on the reverse of the bar portion and is probably gold-plated. It measures 1" x ⅛" and has a push/pull trombone type clasp.
The clasp alone would point to an earlier period, but the rounded hinge is a more accurate indicator of age, which would be circa 1930s.
