*****Condition: Please note that the metal is discolored and has a rough, almost corrosive looking patina. The folding mechanism is very tight; however, the scissors do cut paper.
These folding scissors are from Belgium and circa WWI, possibly part of a soldier's personal equipment. They are unmarked, but I've seen almost identical pairs of scissors made in France and Germany. Because of the dark, heavy patina to the metal, it is possible a maker's mark or country of origin lies beneath.
Dimensions are 2" x 1" folded and 4" extended.
*****Condition: Please note, as aforementioned, the metal is discolored and has a rough, almost corrosive looking patina. The folding mechanism is very tight; however, the scissors do cut paper.
Thank you for looking.
