This 18th century holy card depicting Saint Barthélemy (Bartholomew) is framed and from France. There is a bale by which to hang it, and the frame measures 2" x 1.5". I would not attempt to remove the holy card owing to its apparent fragility and the fragility of the frame.
Saint Barthélemy's feast day is August 24, and he is the patron saint of bookbinders, butchers, cobblers, leatherworkers, plasterers, shoemakers, tanners, trappers, and whiteners. His name is invoked against neurological diseases. Thank you to https://mycatholic.life/saints/saints-of-the-liturgical-year/saint-bartholomew---august-24/ for the information.
*****Condition: There is considerable wear and and discoloration to the holy card as well as to the frame and the reverse of the piece. Again, I would not attempt to remove the holy card owing to its apparent fragility and the fragility of the frame.
