This Belgian pupil's cross stitch on linen sampler, dated 1925 and bearing a tag with the name N. Dehon, was made at an ecole communale or community school. It measures approximately 10 ¾" x 7".
It is in very good condition with slight discoloration and some rolling to the edges of the piece. If one wishes to iron out the edges, it is advisable to use a low iron setting with a linen or cotton towel placed over the reverse of the piece before gently pressing.
