French, Commemorative Baptismal Dragée Box from 10/20/1929

This French, commemorative baptismal dragée box is in very good condition for its age and is comprised of paper and lightweight cardboard. The interior still contains the original paper liners.

*****Condition: It does have some light soiling on the lid cover but nothing that detracts from the overall appearance. The more significant soiling appears along the edges and on the underside of the box. The decoration is a scene that is Fragonard in style with the names and date inked neatly along the edges in black ink with gold ink embellishments.

The box commemorates the baptism of Annette and Jacqueline on August 17, 1927.

Dimensions: 5 ¾" x 4 ½". Depth is ¾".
