This antique (circa 1900s), French pharmaceutical tin is from the laboratory of Dr. Guyot, a specialist in maladies concerning the chest (respiratory issues).
The tin measures 3 ⅛" x 3 ½" x ¼".
*****Condition issues: Please examine the photos carefully and do let me know if you would like more as I'll be happy to oblige. Please note the tin has considerable rust, most apparent on the one side seen in the third photo but also evident overall. (See the spine of the tin as well as the borders.) Also, the edges of the lid have an unevenness owing to usage, but the tin does close properly.
