This small religious pendant depicts Notre Dame de Fourviere (Lyon), Gardienne de la Ville. It is circa late 1800s, probably dating to the time of the church's construction between 1872 and 1896, and has the boar's head mark on the bale, denoting silver of a minimum 800 purity. The gold-colored medal is covered with a glass dome on both sides.
Dimensions are ½" x ⅜", not including the bale.
