This vintage, crib, infant protection cherub is comprised of metal with a celluloid ring, circa 1920s-1930s, and from France. Dimensions of the cherub are approximately 3" x 1 ¾". The ring measures 1 ⅛" across
Even today, crib medals are given to parents of newborns. They are believed to afford protection to the infant.
****Condition: Please note the medal has wear as does the celluloid, particularly on the reverse of the medal. Please examine the photos carefully and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
