This vintage brass plaque from France bears the word "deodorization" in French- "desodorisation."
Dimensions are 11 cm x 2 cm. Each end has a hole by which to hang the plaque if one wishes to display it this way.
****Condition: Does not lie perfectly flat. Also, there is wear and oxidation to the metal. Please examine the photos closely and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.
I found French references to the term "desodorisation" from the late 1800s to early 1960s so I'm cautiously dating this as being circa 1960s although it could be earlier. Of course, the term and practice of deodorization are still used but it would be unlikely to find such a plaque nowadays.
