This harlequin doll from Belgium is circa 1930s and measures 17" in height. He is 11" from hand to hand and has a 7" hip width. His face is celluloid and his body is stuffed with wood wool or excelsior. His clothing is comprised of felt and linen with the neck ruffle made of a stiff netting.
*****Condition: Please note the face and head have soiling. The felt, particularly that comprising the circles on the front chest and the shapes on the hat, has significant wear. There is overall soiling to the felt as well as the linen hat, and there are some loose threads on the edge of hat and neck ruffle. Please examine the photos carefully and let me know if you require more as I'll be happy to oblige.
