This bell of indeterminate age is from Belgium and was described as "ancien grelot," which means old sleigh bell. It's also known as a crotal bell.
Approximate dimension of the bell is a circumference of 7.5" with a single throat (slit) and 8" from end to buckle of the leather strap.
*****CONDITION: Please note the leather strap has heavy wear in the form of darkening, splitting, and cracking, and the bell has a patina. The buckle has rust. Please let me know if you would like more photos as I'll be happy to oblige.
