This cushion top is embroidered with the visage of Pierrot and is circa 1930s. It is from France and does have some condition issues such as thinning of the material and hanging threads. Also, there is a slight musty smell as I believe this was in storage for quite some time.
I've lightly pressed the piece (as seen in the first photo; subsequent photos show the front without the pressing so there is a distinct crease) but will leave further ironing and any cleaning up to the discretion of the new owner as I am not certain how to do the aforementioned without further damaging the material or embroidery.
This measures approximately 14" across, and the material is rough and linen-like.
