French Market Basket in Rattan from Languedoc-Roussillon

This French market basket is of rattan and is from the South of France, the Languedoc-Roussillon area, to be precise. Its dimensions are

Depth: 2.5"
Length: 9.5"
Width: Varies between approximately 6.5" and 7".

*****Please note there is wear and discoloration, the latter being specifically in the interior of the basket. I've not attempted to clean the basket but will leave it up to the discretion of the new owner. Also, the fact that this appears to be an older basket (although age is undetermined), one must be careful with any attempts at cleaning it.

*****Please be aware there are missing pieces of rattan. Please examine all of the photos carefully, inside and outside, and do let me know if you would like more as I'll be happy to oblige.

I advise against using this to carry items because of the age and possible fragility of the rattan. It is more suitable for display.
