French, Art Nouveau, Antique, Mirrored Pendant of Gallia, Advertisement for Poêles Godin
Lightweight, antique, Art Nouveau, French pendant of Gallia with "Poêles Godin" on the reverse with floral design. The pendant opens to reveal a mirror. Mirror does have discoloration, particularly around the edges and some scratching. The piece opens/slides freely; there is no friction when opening or closing
Dimensions: 40 mm. Unknown metal.
Poêles Godin has been a French stove and other heating products manufacturer since 1840.
The front of the pendant has the initials E.D., which could indicate the work of French medallist Jean-Baptiste Émile Dropsy, but I cannot be certain.
