Antique, Small, French, Lidded Wicker Basket, Circa Late 1800s, Early 1900s

I was told that this small, French, wicker basket with lid is circa 1800s, but someone else, another trustworthy source, suggested this could be circa 1930s, so I will date this as being circa late 1800s-1930s. The wicker itself is in very good condition.

*****Condition: The only issue is what might have been a latch on the front as it appears that part of the closure is missing. Also, please note the basket is small. Please see dimensions below.

Dimensions are: 12 cm length, 7 cm width, 10 cm height without handles and 14 cm height with handles.
