This inkwell from France is comprised of metal with a glass insert for the ink.
*****Please note that the glass insert has cracks and chips. Also, the metal shoe portion does have scuffing and scratching, particularly on the sole and heel and also on the actual form of the shoe. Please let me know if you would like more photos as I'll be happy to oblige.
I've not cleaned the insert and have left this up to the discretion of the new owner as some may prefer to leave it as such, especially if it's for display only.
Dimensions of the shoe are 5" x 1 ¾" at its widest.
