This antique locket from France holds a lock of hair. It is incised with a floral design and measures approximately ½", not including the bale. Its age is somewhere between the late 1800s and early 1900s. There are no visible maker's mark or hallmark.
Please note one side of the locket has a slight depression, probably owing to pressure from the fingertips while closing it. Also, the surface of the locket as well as the interior has scratches and wear.
