First Communion, Boy's Silk Armband (Brassard) with Elaborate Design and Fringe, Circa Early 1900s, from France

This approximately 16" First Communion, boy's silk armband or brassard has an elaborate design, is circa early 1900s, and is from France. Please note I have not attempted to clean or iron the armband but will leave this up to the discretion of the new owner.

*****CONDITION: The silk does have discoloration owing to age, and there is some fraying to the threads on the design as well as to the stitching on the silk.
