This vintage, possibly antique, baptism bonnet is from France. It is crocheted and has lace embellishments and silk ribbons.
Please note there is some discoloration to the crocheting as well as the lace. Also, the ribbon has fraying on its ends.
Please let me know if you would like more photos as I'll be happy to oblige. The circumference of the bear's head is approximately 15.5" when a tape measure is wrapped around the head at eye level.
