This French, advertising card for Au Bon Marché was published in 1900 by Sirven of Toulouse and Paris. It depicts two children dressed as Pierrot and smoking cigarettes with a dog in between them. The reverse depicts a street scene (circa late 1800s, early 1900s) in the foreground with the complex of Au Bon Marché in the background.)
Dimensions are 6.5" x 4".
*****Condition: Please note there is edge wear, particularly in the upper left corner and lower right corner, and slight bowing to the card on the lower left side. Also, there is a crease on the front of the card, approximately ¼" below the "o" in "Bon." Finally, there is a white mark on the lower left side of the front of the card within the backwards "c" shape. I believe this is a printing error.
