This French, porcelain medallion of hand-painted poppies is signed V. Maillen. I don't have a definitive date, but I suspect it is early 1900s.
Please note there are areas of wear, particularly around the edge on the gold trim. The back could be leather and looks to have climate-related stains. The black ribbon has considerable wear and fading. There is a hook by which to hang this piece.
Dimensions are 4" x 3".
