Mid-1800s, French, religious, tabletop picture frame in metal from Napoleon III era. Height is approximately 4". Width is 2.75" at its widest. Photo opening is 1.25" across.
Back marks are "Made in France, 2, Galb Email, Paris, Deposé, an "H" and "S" with a key in between these letters, and the abbreviation for the obsolete French patent mark- "Breveté SGDG" (Sans Garantie Du Gouvernement).
Condition: No glass. Cardboard can be removed and replaced with something sturdier and a photo, if one wishes.
