This French, handmade, wooden container with three hand-carved bone dice is probably late 1800s, early 1900s.
The container does have ink stains, gouges, nicks, a split (as seen in the third photo), and some chipping, the latter especially on the cap's edge where it meets the body of container.
The cap has damage in the way of cracking and discoloration. This can be seen especially in the fifth photo and in the interior rim of the cap in the sixth photo.
The seventh and eighth photos show some degradation of the wooden threads.
Dimensions of the container are 2 ¾" in height when measuring the container with the cap. The base is ⅝" across. The dice measure approximately ¼"
