This wax medallion from Belgium measures 3" across and depicts the Virgin Mary with the Christ Child holding the globus cruciger. Mary's feet rest on a crescent moon, which represents her glory and victory over time and space. Thank you to:

There is a metal loop by which to hang this piece. The wax has some wear owing to age and use. There is light coloring visible on the Virgin's robes as well as to the crescent moon.
