Antique, Photo Frame Brooch from France with Photo and Art Nouveau Floral Motifs

This antique photo frame brooch from France is of an unknown, unmarked metal. I believe the insert is glass, but I've not removed it. The floral scrollwork border is reminiscent of the Art Nouveau era. The photo is most likely original to the brooch.

The piece measures 1" and has a C clasp closure. C clasps were most popularly in use between 1850-1910, and I am dating this brooch as being circa 1910 or a bit earlier. The slight extension of the pin past the frame also points to this early manufacture as well. If the pin were to extend even further past the frame's edge, the piece would probably be even earlier.

*Care should be taken if one were to lift the prongs on the back.
