French, Traveling Icon of Martin Schongauer's Annunciation

This French icon depicts Martin Schoengauer's oil on pine Annunciation from the Orlier Altarpiece. This folding, traveling icon contains the two images comprising the original work, Gabriel on the left and the Virgin on the right. These images appear to be adhered to the wood. Please note they are not painted.

The wood has wear, especially on the corners, and some scratching and discoloration. The piece measures 4" when open and 5 ¾" in height. Closed, the piece measures 2". Thickness when closed is 1".

There is a symbol with "Annonciation" next to it on a small strip on the back of one of the panels.
