This French pendant bears a likeness of Marianne/Galia of France and is signed with the artist's initials, EV for Élie-Jean Vézien. Vézien (1890-1982) was a French sculptor, medalist and engraver.
I'm estimating this pendant is circa early 1900s and is of an unknown metal. I've left it untouched and will leave any cleaning/polishing up to the discretion of the new owner.
****The piece does have wear and discoloration, which can be seen clearly in the photographs. Do let me know if you would like more photos as I'll be happy to oblige. The pendant, not including the bale, measures 1".
