This French, antique pendant of unknown metal depicts Madame Sévigné, a famous 17th century letter writer and lover of chocolate. The reverse shows a couple at a town overlook and "Souvenir de l'Exposition de Clermont Ferrand 1910" and "Chocolat de Royat." The couple are Mr. and Mrs. Rouzaud, originally from Royat, in Auvergne. They bought the local factory Chocolaterie of Royat.

This pendant measures 1", not including the bale.
