This antique, French, chatelaine purse has a frame comprised of at least 800 silver. The frame, which has an Art Nouveau pattern, has three boar's head hallmarks, and the ring by which to attach the purse to a chain has an unidentifiable maker's mark.
Dimensions of the mesh portion only are 2" x 1 ¾". This purse is very small and suitable for coins, at the most.
*****Please note the edge of the purse is more than likely missing two of the small ornamental balls. There are five, and I believe there should be seven.
