This antique brass, figural pocket knife is from France and circa late 1800s. I purchased a lot of these from a French antiques dealer and believe they're new, old stock. The knife features a bow-tied cat on both the front and back.
The blade measures 1 ⅜". When closed, the cat measures 2 ⅛", not including the bale. At its widest, the cat is approximately ⅞", not including the protruding blade when the knife is folded.
There is a bale at the top of the cat's head so this knife can be worn as a pendant. Wear commensurate with age.

Oh my goodness!! This little knife was more than I expected and the pics didn’t do it justice!! And it was packaged so well that I was wishing I had the knife so that I could open it!! Great shop and super communication. Highly recommend!!
