This antique brass, figural pocket knife is from France and circa late 1800s. I purchased quite a few of these knives and believe they're new, old stock.
The knife features a rabbit on both the front and back.
The blade measures 1 ⅜". When closed, the rabbit measures 2 ¼", not including the bale. At its widest, the rabbit is approximately ¾", not including the protruding blade when the knife is folded.
There is a bale at the bottom of the rabbit so this knife can be worn as a pendant.
****Please note there is a patina to the brass, evident more on one side than the other. The rabbit can be cleaned and polished to a sheen, but I've left this up to the discretion of the new owner.
