This French, antique book is circa 1900s and is by French botanist Gaston Bonnier (1853-1922). According to the front cover, there are 2,208 photographs of plants.
The book is in poor condition with a portion of the spine missing, chipping of and missing pieces to the front cover and back covers, which are badly discolored. There are climate issues with possible mold as well as foxing and staining to the pages. The page edges are worn and well-thumbed from decades of use.
