Belline Oracle, Reproduced by Grimaud, 1961

$75.00

This is a 1961 edition of the mid-1800s oracle by Jules Charles Ernest Billaudot, better known as Mage Edmond (1829-1881). The oracle was discovered by Marcel Forget (known as Belline) and was published by Grimaud. It is a deck of 53 cards (52 numbered and one blue card that represents a talisman or protection.) Additionally, there are 2 other cards, one with reviews of the deck from various publications and another card with a reproduced note from Belline.

An instruction booklet in French, English and German is included with the deck, which comes in a black box with faux alligator texture and gold lettering.

The cards measure 3 ¾" x 2 ⅜".

Thank you to https://en.tarotquest.fr/review-en-011-oracle-belline.html for the very informative review of this particular tarot. It would behoove a prospective buyer to read this article before purchasing the deck, especially if one is unfamiliar with this deck or other oracles/tarot.

*****Condition: The cards are in pristine condition as is the booklet, but the box does have wear. Please note that the reverse of each of the cards with the starburst design is made to look as if it has edge wear. Upon close examination, one can see that each area of reproduced wear is exactly the same on each card. Please examine the photos and do let me know if you need more as I'll be happy to oblige.

Thank you for looking.
