This Belgian chocolate egg-shaped mold with clips measures 4" x 4.75". It is of indeterminate age and has considerable wear along its edges. Some of this wear is owing to the clips, which scrape and scratch the metal when removed. If you desire to purchase new clips for the mold, these are available from companies online. There is also "475" written in what appears to be marker on the edge of the mold. This may be able to be removed with a gentle abrasive such as baking soda, but I've not attempted this.
The mold's edges have the mold number 4516 and the manufacturer's name- DeHaeck. I am unsure as to the metal composition of this mold, but it looks to have been plated as some of the plating has come off along the mold's edges.
